Move on
Dedicated to safe homes, tailored support, and lifelong independence.
Moving On from Supported Housing
At Paragon Supported Housing CIC, our goal is not just to provide a safe place to live, but to equip our residents with the skills, confidence, and support they need to live independently. Moving on from supported housing can feel overwhelming, but we are here to guide you every step of the way.
Preparing to Move On
Before a resident moves on, we work closely with them to ensure they are ready for independent living. This preparation includes reviewing progress on life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and self-care, addressing ongoing support needs such as health or wellbeing, and helping residents understand their responsibilities in a new home, including tenancy agreements and bills.
Finding the Right Home
A key part of moving on is securing a suitable long-term home. Paragon Supported Housing CIC provides guidance and support in:
- Identifying affordable housing options that meet individual needs
- Applying for local authority housing or shared accommodation
- Understanding tenancy agreements and legal responsibilities
- Accessing support services in the local community
We ensure that the home you move into is safe, suitable, and sustainable, giving you the best chance of success in independent living.
Support During Transition
Even after moving on, we remain available to provide advice and support where needed. This can include helping you settle into a new community, providing guidance on managing bills, rent, and household responsibilities, and referring you to additional services such as employment, training, or financial support.
