Referrals
Dedicated to safe homes, tailored support, and lifelong independence.
Referrals
Paragon Supported Housing CIC works in partnership with Local Authorities, statutory agencies, and support organisations to provide safe accommodation and structured support for individuals experiencing homelessness and related challenges.
We operate a clear and transparent referral process to ensure that placements are suitable, safe, and able to meet the needs of each individual.
Who Can Refer
Referrals are accepted from recognised agencies and professionals, including:
Local Authorities and Housing Options teams
Probation and criminal justice services
Social services
Mental health and substance misuse services
Registered charities and recognised support providers
We do not normally accept self-referrals without professional involvement, as we require supporting information to assess suitability.
Who We Support
Paragon Supported Housing CIC provides accommodation and support for individuals and families who may be experiencing but not limited to:
Homelessness or risk of homelessness
Mental health challenges
Substance misuse issues
Domestic abuse situations
Social exclusion or vulnerability
Each referral is assessed carefully to ensure that we can safely and effectively meet the individual’s support needs.
The Referral Process
All referrals are subject to an assessment process to determine suitability and risk. The process typically includes:
- Completion of a referral form with supporting documentation
- A risk assessment
- Review of support needs and compatibility with the property
- An assessment interview where appropriate
Our aim is to make timely decisions while ensuring placements are safe and appropriate for both the individual and existing residents.
What We Consider
When assessing referrals, we consider:
- The individual’s support needs and level of risk
- Whether our accommodation is suitable
- The safety and wellbeing of current residents
- The ability to engage with structured support
This ensures that placements are sustainable and that individuals have the best opportunity to succeed.
After Acceptance
If a referral is accepted, we will coordinate with the referring agency to arrange move-in arrangements and provide details of the allocated Housing and Support Worker. A personalised needs assessment, support plan and risk assessment will be developed shortly after move-in to ensure structured, goal-focused support from the outset.
Partnership Working
We value strong partnership working and maintain open communication with referring agencies throughout a resident’s placement. Regular updates can be provided where appropriate, in line with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
